I’m Kalen Thomas, a Latina motion designer based in San Francisco.

Growing up in Fontana, California, I was enamored by storytelling in film and television. This passion led me to the Academy of Art University to study 3D Animation. When job opportunities in the field proved difficult to find, I pivoted, leveraging my skills to freelance as a motion designer.

5+ years later I've found a little niche in the beauty and skincare industry, working for renowned brands such as Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Ole Henriksen, KVD Beauty, Peace Out Skincare and Lip Lab. 

In my free time you can find me exploring the many neighborhoods in SF, trying new restaurants or coffee shops and enjoying a walk in the park with my husband.
